"You can be whoever you want to be beneath that mask."
Emily Jewell Pace is a Music Theatre major at the University of Central Oklahoma. Emily started performing at the young age of six when her mother got her to audition at their local community theatre and she hasn’t stopped since! Whenever she is not performing, she enjoys reading, volunteering, watching Turner Classic Movies, hanging out with family and putting a smile on her nieces and nephews faces. She is positively thrilled to be a part of Forever After Parties because she loves making children happy by making their dreams come true in some small way. Emily always says, “Every girl should feel like they’re a princess.” And by playing Cinderella, she is delighted to make every child feel like royalty.
Megan has been looking for a way to put her love of acting and singing to good use, and she could not think of anything better than serving children with what she loves most: singing! Megan is currently working on her Master’s in Opera Performance at Oklahoma City University, after completing her Bachelor of Arts in Music at Westmont College, a small Christian college in Santa Barbara, California. Megan has loved music for as long as she can remember. After her mom noticed she could carry a tune when she was just three, her parents enrolled her in the Sacramento Children’s Chorus and piano lessons. Couple that with a love of dresses and princesses, and Megan believes that this is the ultimate dream job! Growing up as the middle of three sisters, there was plenty of imagining and dress-up to go around! Megan even participated in the Miss Oklahoma USA Pageant, which was basically a big girl’s version of dress-up! Megan has always loved everything Disney, from Disneyland to Belle and her unconditional love for the Beast. In fact, some of Megan’s favorite credits include playing Cinderella in Into the Woods, as well as Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance. Megan continues to dream of singing the role of Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Ariel in The Little Mermaid, and Marian in The Music Man. Megan has a heart for serving others in her work and restoring wholesome entertainment for children and youth. Having worked as a volunteer face painting and entertaining children at her church’s Fall Fun Fest and Bethlehem Marketplace, Megan already knew she enjoyed serving children and bringing smiles to their faces. As a member of the National Honor Society, Megan had endless opportunities to serve her community. She also served at her local food closet and enjoyed singing to her Lord in her church’s praise band. Megan is smiley, and she takes great delight in encouraging others. Beyond singing, Megan enjoys studying the Bible, ballroom dancing, Pilates, playing the piano, oil painting, cooking, traveling, and wearing dresses! Megan hopes to use her God-given talents and desires to serve others. She is excited to partner with Forever After Parties to make a difference in even one child’s day.
Megan Elise Carter is a Dance Management major at Oklahoma City University. She is so excited to join Forever After Parties! Megan has been singing and acting since she was 7 years old and dancing since she was 8! Her favorite roles include Aquata in The Little Mermaid Jr, Anastasia in Cinderella, and Sharpay Evans in High School Musical. In high school, Megan taught dance classes for ages 2-12 at her studio, and she still returns to teach master classes during school breaks! She also volunteered to teach Sunday School and drama camp for elementary students. Megan also volunteers with her sorority to raise money for the YWCA of Oklahoma City. When she was a little girl, Megan liked to play Ariel and sing Part of Your World on the slide in her kiddie pool. Her mom even made her a tail to swim in! Megan is a National Merit Scholar and was recently voted “Most Likely to Burst into Song” by her sisters. She also won several platinum and first place awards, as well as judge’s choice awards for technique and performance, back in her dance competition days in high school. When she’s not performing, Megan loves swimming, sewing, painting, and going to the zoo! She also loves having chick flick nights with her friends and baking the cookies that actually make it into the oven.
