"Have courage and be kind."
Emily is a current Music Theatre Major at the University of Central Oklahoma. Her top two favorite roles from community theatre include Peggy Sawyer (42nd Street) and Carrie Pipperidge (Carousel). She has been babysitting since age 9, has worked in church nurseries for 10 years, been a summertime part-time nanny for 3 years, has child-wrangled for musical theatre productions on several accounts, and has even taught pre-school dance classes focusing on ballet, tap, and creative movement. All in all, Emily loves children of all ages and even wishes to become a mother some day. When it comes to her work as a princess, she has said, “I’ve always wanted to be a princess. The first Disney princess movie I saw was Cinderella. She has always been my favorite because I felt that we were so similar. Cindy and I are both hard-working blondes with gentle hearts and big dreams! Ariel has been a close second for me, as well. I mean, who doesn’t want to be a mermaid? Plus, I always loved red hair!!!” Her goal as a princess is to bring kids the same kind of joy and inspiration that she felt as a little girl. Emily has many dreams and desires for her life and would love to inspire your children to dream as big as they can possibly dream!
Once upon a time there was a little girl who dreamed of becoming a Disney princess… now her dreams are coming true! Katie is thrilled to be joining the Forever After Parties family! She is currently a Musical Theater major at Oklahoma City University. She has been performing as long as she can remember, and has been in over 19 productions including Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Oklahoma! (Laurey), White Christmas (Judy), Once Upon a Mattress (Lady Larkin), and The Music Man (Marian). Katie's favorite part to play was Belle because she loves to read, stands up for herself and her family, doesn’t follow the crowd and looks to the heart of those less fortunate. She also loved playing Belle because of the look on the children's faces when they got to meet their favorite Disney princess. Now Katie is thrilled to have the opportunity to light up their faces again! Katie loves children and has been blessed to help with children’s church, children with disabilities, theater camps, puppet shows, and foster child play days. When she isn’t performing you can find Katie home in Texas reading, playing the piano and guitar, watching a movie with her wonderful family or driving her 1929 Model A Ford Roadster. As Walt Disney says, “It’s kind of fun to do the impossible.”
Sonnet is thrilled to be a part of the Forever After Parties team! She has been performing in music and theatre ever since she can remember, but has been a Disney fan even longer. She would always dance around her house in the dress-up gowns, and loves that she gets to do that now! Currently, she is a freshman Musical Theatre major at the University of Central Oklahoma. Favorite credits include Liesl in The Sound of Music, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, Lily St. Regis in Annie, Cosette in Les Miserables, and Lady Larken in Once Upon a Mattress. Growing up in the middle of five kids, Sonnet fostered a love for children and families. During the day, she loves being a nanny to some sweet kiddos. She also recently fell in love with education while completing an internship at Sequoyah Middle School in the drama and choir classrooms. She has also worked in the Deer Creek Public Schools special needs program, which gave her love and understanding for all children. Sonnet hopes to one day be a teacher, continue performing, and live happily ever after!
