Sophia Macias is ecstatic to join the Forever After Parties crew! She is currently attending Oklahoma City University for a BM in Musical Theatre. Her favorite role she has played is Belle in Beauty and the Beast at her high school for which she was nominated for Best Actress and performed on Broadway in the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (also known as the Jimmy Awards). Sophia is a Big Sister with the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization in Wichita, Kansas. She has also had the pleasure volunteering at various community theaters in her hometown such as Wichita Children’s Theatre and Dance Center and Music Theatre for Young People for the last seven years. Aside from singing in her church choir, she began performing in the second grade at the Wichita Children’s Theater! Sophia likes to say she “got her start” performing at these theaters, so she loves to volunteer and help other “future performers” find their passions in the arts. Sophia comes from a musical, performing family. She has three wonderful siblings; an older sister, Kate; a younger sister, Carmen; and a younger brother, Frank. She also has several little cousins she’s nanny-ed and a two year old nephew, Jack, whom she adores! When Sophia is not performing or volunteering, you can find her knitting, playing her ukulele, or reading. She especially loves reading historical non-fiction and biographies, and nutritional health books. Sophia has big dreams and big plans of traveling world, sharing her gifts, and someday performing alongside her mother and older sister again.
